2. Products and Services

SpecCodes manufactures and sells ADA compliant architectural signage. All products are designed to meet applicable accessibility standards including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), California Title 24, and International Building Code (IBC) requirements.

Product Accuracy: We strive to display accurate product images, descriptions, and specifications. Colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings. Dimensions and specifications are provided as guidelines.

3. Ordering and Payment

3.1 Order Acceptance

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including pricing errors, product unavailability, or suspected fraud.

3.2 Pricing

All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include applicable taxes, which will be calculated at checkout.

3.3 Net-30 Terms

Net-30 payment terms are available for qualified business customers upon credit approval. Applications are subject to review. Late payments may incur interest charges of 1.5% per month and result in suspension of credit privileges.

4. Shipping Policy

• Shipping Methods: Standard ground shipping is free on all orders

• Delivery Area: We ship to all 50 U.S. states

Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

5. Returns and Refunds

5.1 Standard Returns

Unopened, undamaged products may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Custom-made or personalized signs are non-refundable unless defective or non-compliant.

5.4 Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving returned merchandise. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

6. Warranty

What's Covered: Manufacturing defects, fading (indoor use), cracking, delamination, and Braille detachment.

What's Not Covered: Damage from improper installation, abuse, vandalism, fire, flood, or other external causes. Signs used in extreme outdoor conditions may have limited coverage.

7. Compliance Disclaimer

While our products are designed to meet ADA, Title 24, and IBC standards, building code requirements vary by jurisdiction. It is the purchaser's responsibility to:

• Verify local code requirements with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
• Ensure proper installation according to applicable codes
• Obtain necessary permits and inspections

SpecCodes provides compliance information as guidance only. We are not responsible for interpretation of codes by local inspectors or for installation compliance.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of SpecCodes or its content suppliers and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPECCODES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
